Graduated in Classical Letters in Siena, PhD in Ancient History and Philosophy at the University of Jena - Germany.
Winner of a CNR research project concerning pagan religion in Roman times.
He obtained a research grant from the Department of Classical Studies of the Faculty of Letters of Siena.
Former teacher of Latin Didactics at the School of Specialization for teaching, he held courses in Roman Epigraphy at the European Master in Conservation and Management of archaeological and historical-artistic heritage.
He then became professor of Roman History and Latin Epigraphy at the University of Siena.
After writing books and numerous essays on Roman history and Latin epigraphy,he recently published a historical mystery I am the emperor.
The novel was awarded
the
special jury prize
to the
Rende Book Festival, the Honorable Mention at the Gregorian Residences Literary Prize and the Diploma of Honor at the National Poetry and Fiction Award Alda Merini.
He has participated as author in various literary festivals, including Ventimilarighesottoimari (Senigallia), Libri in Baia (Sestri Levante), Review of Micro-publishing (Chiari), Giallo Garda festival.
He is engaged in an Itinerant tour in Italy with a popular meeting, halfway between history and archeology, on the Roman emperor, philosopher and writer, Giuliano the Apostate.
